We will respond to inquiries or complaints in a timely manner.

2. Scope & Applicability

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information collected by us in the course of our commercial activities, including via the Site, your account registration and subscription services. It does not cover personal information collected offline or by third-party sites that may be linked from our Site. If you access our Site from another country, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws.

  • Name (first and/or last)
  • Email address
  • Username and password (for account registration)

3.2 Payment Information

  • If you subscribe to paid services, we process payment through a third-party payment processor. We do not store your full payment credentials (e.g., you do not provide/store credit card number on our servers) but we do collect any billing address or associated account identifier needed by the processor.

3.3 Usage & Technical Information (automatically collected)

  • Information about your interaction with the Site (such as pages visited, clicks, content viewed)
  • Cookie identifiers and analytics data (see Section 5)
  • IP address, device type, browser type, operating system and other standard server logs
Collecting this data helps improve our service, though we associate it with user accounts only when you are logged in.

4. How We Use Your Information & Purposes

We use the personal information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To register, authenticate and manage your account and access to the Site
  • To provide you with content and services based on your subscription tier
  • To process and manage payments and billing (through our third-party processor)
  • To communicate with you regarding your account, updates, service changes, support or other administrative matters
  • To improve our website, services, and user experience (for example via analytics, testing and feedback)
  • To comply with our legal obligations (e.g., tax, accounting, fraud prevention)

We will not use your personal information for purposes other than those identified at the time of collection, except with your consent or as required by law.

5. Cookies, Tracking & Analytics

5.1 Use of Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies, web beacons and similar technologies to enhance your experience, recognise you (if you have an account), remember your preferences, collect aggregate usage data and analyze how the Site is used.

5.2 Types of Cookies

  • Essential/functional cookies – necessary for account login and site operation
  • Analytics/performance cookies – track how you use the Site (pages visited, time spent, etc.)
You may disable or block cookies via your browser settings (or via an opt-out in the Site if provided). Please note that disabling cookies may limit your ability to use certain features of the Site.
    5.3 Third-Party Analytics
We may use third-party service providers (for example Google Analytics or similar) to monitor and analyze usage of the Site. These providers may place cookies on your device. Please review those providers’ privacy policies for more information.
    5.4 Consent & Choice
By using the Site, you consent to our placing cookies and tracking usage as described. You may withdraw consent or adjust your settings at any time (subject to limitations).

6. Disclosure of Your Information

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to third parties.

We may disclose personal information in the following circumstances:

  • To service providers who work on our behalf (such as payment processors, hosting providers, analytics providers), and only to the extent necessary for them to perform their services. These providers are required to maintain confidentiality and implement appropriate security measures.
  • When required by law, such as responding to a lawful subpoena or court order, or to comply with applicable regulatory obligations.
  • To protect the rights, property or safety of True Patriot Love, our users or others (for example investigating fraud or security issues).
  • In connection with a corporate transaction (such as a merger, acquisition or sale of assets). In such case, your personal information may be one of the business assets transferred, and we will require the acquiring entity to honour this Privacy Policy or to provide you with notice and choice before a materially different use.

7. Retention of Personal Information

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law (such as tax or accounting record-keeping obligations). Once we no longer require your personal information, we will securely delete, anonymize or destroy it. This is consistent with the fair information principle of limiting retention.

If you delete your account or request deletion of your personal information, we will take reasonable steps to remove your data, subject to any legal or legitimate business purpose requiring retention (for example, billing records).

8. Data Security

We have implemented reasonable physical, technical and administrative safeguards designed to protect the personal information under our control against unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification. These measures include (but are not limited to) encryption of data in transit, secure password storage, restricted access controls, monitoring and auditing of access.

However, no data transmission over the Internet or storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Accordingly, while we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot warrant absolute security.

If we become aware of a breach of security of personal information that creates a real risk of significant harm to you, we will notify you and the appropriate regulatory body in accordance with applicable law.

9. Your Rights and Choices

You have the following rights in relation to your personal information:

  • Access and correction – You may request access to personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct or update it if it is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Withdrawal of consent / opt-out – If you have provided consent for a particular use of your personal information, you may withdraw it at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice. For example, you may opt-out of marketing or promotional communications.
  • Deletion / account closure – You may request deletion or closure of your account and request that we delete your personal information (subject to our retention obligations).
  • Cookie controls – You may adjust your browser or device settings to manage or block cookies and tracking technologies.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at info@tplmedia.ca. We will respond to your request in a reasonable timeframe and may ask you to verify your identity before responding to ensure the security of your personal information.

10. Children’s Privacy

Our Site is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental or guardian consent. If we become aware that we have inadvertently obtained personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information as soon as possible.

11. International Transfers

Because our servers, service providers or business operations may be located outside your jurisdiction (including outside Canada), your personal information may be transferred to, stored and processed in regions with different data protection laws. By using the Site and providing your personal information, you consent to such transfer, storage and processing. Where required by law, we will take appropriate safeguards (such as contractual protections) to protect your personal information in such transfers.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal or regulatory requirements. The “Effective Date” at the top will be revised accordingly. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. If we make material changes affecting how we use your personal information, we may provide additional notice (such as by email or via the Site) as required by law.
